Southeastern Facility Management Inc. is a service contracting firm specializing in three major areas: Facility Management, Food Service, and Janitorial/Custodial Services. These services are offered to commercial and industrial customers and to federal, state and local governments. SFM, Inc. was founded in September, 1986 to meet corporate and business needs for service contractor professionals in many service areas and to provide quality work in a timely, professional manner at a fair price.

Its goal is to allow business and government entities to use their resources to manage increasing technology and complexity in the workplace by freeing them from daily tasks of necessary, but time-consuming building maintenance, food service and janitorial/custodial services.

Since its inception in 1986, it has grown steadily into a national and international company, succeeding in a highly competitive market. SFM, Inc. has continued to provide excellent services by developing an outstanding quality control program, establishing working capital and adequate bonding capabilities to meet contract requirements, implementing training methods and focusing on safety and positive action for its more than 600 employees. SFM, Inc.'s directors and officers collectively have more than 40 years of contract experience and are directly involved in everyday company management.

Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Lewis, President and Senior Vice President respectively, were named by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the 1994 Atlanta District Minority Small Business Person(s) of the Year. Its facility management service offers proposals which daily provide diverse, personalized service geared to needs of commercial, industrial and governmental customers. This excellent service has won many awards for SFM, Inc. and, for the Fortune 500 companies and military installations to which it provides total or partial facility management services.

Southeastern Facility Management, Inc. is highly active in promoting civic causes in the city of Columbus, Georgia and in its other locations, adding to the pride of the communities, and contributing a sense of business professionalism to the corporate and governmental sector by providing basic, but essential services in unique proposals. Our employees are chosen on the basis of experience, dedication and prior service. They must pass drug testing, background police and credit checks and a quality control trial period.
